Peter's Porch Lititz
Peter's Porch meets every 2nd Saturday (except for the month of August) from 8 to 10 AM. Everyone is invited to a free breakfast, to hang out and fellowship. The children's clothing closet is open to anyone needing clothing for their little ones. Food choices are available to pick up and take home. No one is turned away and you don't have to register to receive food for your household.
Peter's Porch brings together multiple services into an integrated community experience. It's a great place to hang out and relax while enjoying a hearty breakfast. LititzMC believes a healthy neighborhood is a community of well-being for all people, who have the basic needs of housing and food security met with acts of Christ's love and peace.
Volunteer options
Peter's Porch is hosted by Lititz Mennonite church. It is supported by donations from the community and volunteers from many churches who prepare, make purchases, cook, welcome, serve, and clean up. Please plan to arrive at 7:30 AM before the doors open. You will be invited to have breakfast before Peter's Porch opens. To volunteer contact lmcadmin@lititzmc.org or leave a message at 717 626-8237. Please indicate if you are interested in a particular month or can participate on a regular basis. (We do take the month of August off due to the craft fair in Lititz that Saturday.)
